BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions displayed below are a very important part of the booking procedure. Here you will find everything you need to know about our tour policies. Upon purchase of the package, the terms and conditions set forth herein become a binding contract between the Purchaser and Snowland Treks & Tours (Hereinafter referred as “The Company”) Acceptance of the contract occurs when deposit is received by the Company.
PRICES
Prices for tours are valid for tours, starting January 1st until December 31st of a particular year of the booking. Rates are quoted in correct at time of publication. Prices are per person based upon shared twin room occupancy. All prices are based on current exchange rates and are subject to change without notice.
Included in the package prices: Prices include all countryside accommodations in Pakistan, all land transportation, domestic flights where indicated, meals, guide services, entrance fees to museums, concerts and national parks, Excursions and other activities where indicated.
Not included in the package prices: Prices do not include, items of a personal nature such as laundry, alcoholic drinks, beverages, passport and visa fees, insurance, airport taxes and fees, international flights, tips and gratuities, optional activities and others unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions.
Single Supplement
Single supplement is available on most trips. If you require a single supplement, the additional charge will be calculated accordingly to the trip, destination hotels.
PAYMENT POLICY
Deposit
If you decide to book your tour program, we require you to pay 10 percent of total cost. On receipt of your deposit, we will send you confirmation of your booking along with details for the payment of the balance. The booking will not be accepted until the deposit is received.
Your deposit payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them.
Full Payment
The remaining balance & full payment must be made after your arrival in Pakistan before starting the trip. If full payment is not received prior to departure, Snowland reserves the right to consider this a cancellation and apply the cancellation charges as detailed below.
Special Arrangements
Earlier payments are might be required as described on your invoice because of the nature of special services.
Payment methods
Payment can be made by Cash or Bank transfer and international money transfer services.
Cancellation policy
Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
- Up to 31 days prior to departure: $100 p.p.
- 31 to 15 days prior to departure: 30% of total cost
- 14 to 8 days prior to departure: 60% of total cost
- 7 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total cost
Special Events & Products
Deposit, Final Payment, and Cancellation penalties may differ for special events, select hotels and tour packages. You will be advised at time of booking on your invoice.
Reservation of Rights The Company reserves the rights to decline or to accept or expel any person as a participant in travel, tours or trips arranged by the Company, if the Company deems it necessary for the safety or comfort of the other participants. Any person rejected or expelled will not be entitled to a refund for unused services.
Limited Responsibility
The Company acts only as a limited representative for clients or their agents in engaging the services of companies or other persons to provide transportation, lodging, tours, guides, and other travel services. The Company and its employees are not principals, partners, agents, or operators of any airline, carrier, hotel, guide service, outfitter, or any other provider of travel services, and no provider should be considered to be an agent, employee, principal, or partner of the Company. Neither the Company nor its employees, officers, directors, agents, or affiliates will be responsible or liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to any person or property (i) arising out of arrangements made on behalf of any person by the Company or (ii) caused by or arising out of travel or other activities undertaken as a result of such arrangements.
Liability
Each person who participates in travel or other activities arranged by the Company or its employees or agents does so at his or her own risk and assumes complete responsibility for the inherent risks and dangers associated with the travel and other activities. Risks and dangers may be present at any time during a person’s participation in the travel or other activities arranged by the Company and include, without limitation: (a) adverse weather conditions and other hazards of nature; (b) strenuous physical activity; (c) accidents, whether related to travel, climbing, or other activities; (d) disease or other physical ailments; (e) contact with dangerous animals and insects; and (f) political or civil unrest.
Charge for children:
- 0-2 years old: free.
- from 3-11 years old: 30% at the regular adult price.
- from 12 years old and above: 100% at the regular adult price.
Travel documents
All travelers must check their travel documentation to ensure that the dates are correct, visas have been obtained and passports have at least six months validity. Please ensure you carefully read your invoice and all other documents we send to you as soon as you receive them and contact us immediately if any information appears to be incorrect.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. We are highly recommends that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.
Feedback
If you’re not satisfied with any aspect of the services we have arranged on your behalf, you should report it to your tour guide so that immediate action can be taken to remedy the problem. Any feedback made to the Company following the conclusion of the tour should be made in writing within 15 days of completion of the tour. In the event that you do not notify us in writing within 15 days, our ability to investigate negative feedback may be prejudiced.
Personal Data Protection
We would like to store and use your personal data for future marketing purposes (for example, sending you our marketing material) unless you have told us that you do not wish us to do so. All personal data you give us (including sensitive personal data) will be kept but we will use only names and email address for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to receive any marketing material or communications from us, please e-mail or write to us at snowlandtours@gmail.com. We do not sell personal data to any third party.
We occasionally take photos during our tours for use in promotional material. Unless you advise us otherwise, you consent to such use of your photographic/video likeness.
If you believe that any of your personal data which we are processing is inaccurate or incorrect please contact us immediately.
Booking changes policy
In case the customer needs to change the tour or increase the number of participants, he or she must be make the request by e-mail. There is no fee charged for these requests.
All requests for date changes to a booking must be made by e-mail from the person who submitted the booking originally.
