Our Himalaya cycling holiday is one of our most difficult mountain bike tours in the world. This extreme cycling tour takes you to the very heart of the Himalayas where you will discover some of the finest cycling the world has to offer.

We start cycling in Jaglot, after being transferred from Islambad. The Deosai Plains (4000m) are 32km south of Skardu. This plateau is the habitat of the greatly threatened Himalayan brown bear and many other wild animals. At an average elevation of 4000 meters, Deosai is known a national park and protected Nanga Parbat Rupal Face Above Sheosar Lake On The Deosai Plains area for wildlife. The rolling grassland here supports not trees or shrubs and the area is snow covered for seven months of the year. Spring comes to Deosai in August when millions of wild flowers being to bloom all over the lush green grassland. This is a time when Deosai looks like paradise with a landscape full of wild flowers on green rolling hills and crystal clear water streams with snow covered peaks in the background.Skardu Baltistan

The adventure bike tour will take you right across the beautiful mountains ranges of Himalaya and Karakoram. Traveling on KKH, you will enjoy most spectacular scenery on earth. Before reaching Deosai, you will also witness the magical views of Nanga Parbat (8125m), the ninth highest peak of the world, from different angles at Deosai, our first stop will be at Sheosar Lake. This place offer beautiful views of south face of Nanga Parbat and panoramic views of Deosai Plains. At Bara Pani, you can spend one day and visit the core zone of National Park for Bear Watching or you may enjoy fishing in the cold water of Bara Pani stream.

Arrive Islamabad/Rawalpindi
Islamabad is new capital 47 years old well-planned city of Pakistan is lush green at the footsteps of Potwar hills. Visit one of the biggest Shah Faisal mosques in the world; also an interesting round trip combines a tour of Shakespearian Park with a visit to Lok versa, the institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage. Rawalpindi is a lively, bustling city with the crowded streets and colorful bazaars, thorough it lacks the grand monuments; nonetheless, the bazaar should appeal to anyone with the desire to see the real Pakistan. Drive to Chilas on Karakoram Highway-10-12 hours 480 Km
Karakorum high way is 8th wonder of the world (KKH). KKH is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an elevation of 4,733 m/15,397 ft. It connects China's Xinjiang region with Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions and also serves as a popular tourist attraction. Due to its high elevation and the difficult conditions in which it was constructed, it is also referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World. The Karakoram Highway, also known as the Friendship Highway in China, was built by the governments of Pakistan and China, it was started in 1959 and was completed in 1979 (open to the public since 1986) about 810 Pakistanis and about 200 Chinese workers lost their lives, mostly in landslides and falls, while building the highway. The route of the KKH traces one of the many paths of the ancient Silk Road. Meals: Breakfast O/N Hotel

Drive to Jaglot on Karakoram Highway and start Cycling
For a short time we follow the Karakorum Highway (KKH) by Jeep to Jaglot. From there we start to make our first experience on the road by bike. This is our first ascent as we begin to "warm up" for the tough ride ahead. Cycling out of KKH through an of pine and deodar trees we tackle the first set of many hairpin bends and switchbacks on the way to the Astore/Chilim. Overnight in camp in Doyang, a beautiful campsite next to the Astor River. Cycling distance: 15 miles (25km) Altitude: 1,500 m (4,900 ft)

Dayon - Astor
The road is rough. Many rocky parts are to overcome. We camp next to Astor. Overnight in camp in Astor. Cycling distance: 15 miles (25km) Altitude: 2600m (8530 ft)

Astor - Tarishing
The trail is again strenuous.It needs a lot of power and concentration. Overnight in camp in Tarishing. Cycling distance: 15 miles (25km) Altitude: 2900m (9514 ft)

Trek to Nanga Parbat Rupal Face Base camp
If the weather is good, we trek to the Nanga Parbat BC. The view to this grandious mountain is wonderful. Camp at the Herligkoffer BC.

Cycling Around Chillim and towards Deosai
A superb downhill part is waiting for us. Through a green valley full of flowers and sprinkling water. Camp at Barapani

Deosai Top - Satpara Lake
Our longing to the superb downhill got an end. Downhill for the next 20 km! The road is narrow, rough and demands a lot of concentration.

Satpara - Skardu
Today we reach again the civilization. Shower and washing day. We can visit the amazing bazaar or relax in the garden of the hotel.
