Much of the climbing & trekking happens on the giant of Baltoro whereas not far, the superb valley of Charakusa is growing by isolated towers and superb granite spires that remain out of the world. A challenging trek leading into the heart of one of the most isolated and pristine mountain valleys on earth. Perfect granite, massive rock walls, and easy access combine to produce one of the greatest mountain showcases on the planet.The Charakusa valley and Charakusa Glacier is surrounded by beautiful mountains like K6 7281m, Link Sar 7041m, K7 6934m, Drifica 6447m, Kapura Peak 6545m, Namika 6325 and Laila Peak 6400m provide unique opportunities for those who want to trek base camps, scale the rocks in the heart of the Karakorams.

You will be met by a representative of snowland and will be transferred to the Designated Hotel.

Fly from Islamabad airport to Skardu (1-hour scenic flight). Free day for sightseeing and necessary purchasing from Skardu Bazar. We will visit Manthal Rock Budha, Kharpocho fort, Organic village and Skardu Bazar.
Or In case of flight cancellation due to weather, drive from Islamabad via Karakoram Highway with short stops at various touristic spots.

After breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Hushe valley. Passing through small villages and witnessing the diverse cultural heritage of the Ganche district. We will have short stops at the meeting point of Shayok & Indus Rivers, Thorgo Pari, and Sailing.

The traditional trekking season in Pakistan is June to September. The Charakusa Valley trek will have a wide range of temperatures depending on the altitude and the time of day. In the mountains between 1,000m and 3,500m the nights will be cool normally around 5°C. During the day temperatures can be very hot even as high as 40°C in the lower elevations. At higher altitudes temperatures range from about 20°C to -10°C. The mornings are generally clear with clouds building up during the afternoon and often disappearing at night to reveal beautiful starry nights. Rawalpindi will be hot and humid at this time of year; temperatures typically range from 30°C to 46°C with high humidity, whereas the temperatures in Skardu at 2,340m will be cooler
